Calibration Program & Improvement Consent

DiscoverGraph uses real public websites to test whether scanner changes improve accuracy without introducing regressions. Registered recurring participation is voluntary and product-specific.

Registered products

If you opt a product in, you confirm that you own/administer the site or otherwise have permission to authorize recurring bounded public scans. DiscoverGraph may periodically re-scan that product, retain the resulting public evidence/reports, compare scanner versions and use optional owner-confirmed facts to evaluate product identity, category, audience and conversion accuracy.

You can withdraw the product at any time from its Product Workspace. Withdrawal prevents new calibration runs; a calibration run already in progress may finish.

Anonymous scans

An anonymous scan is not recurring consent. Evidence/results from the scan you explicitly submit may be retained and used to test and improve DiscoverGraph, as disclosed before submission. Anonymous use does not authorize DiscoverGraph to enroll the target in recurring calibration.

What not to submit

Do not enroll private, authenticated, confidential or sensitive URLs; URLs containing credentials, access tokens or unnecessary personal data; localhost/private-network resources; or a third party's site unless you have permission for recurring calibration scans. A one-time competitive audit is not consent to add a competitor to the Calibration Program.

Owner-confirmed facts

Participants may optionally provide the product name, product type, intended audience, primary conversion and a short factual description. These are used as calibration ground truth signals. They do not silently replace observed scan evidence or force a report to agree with the owner.

Frequency, quotas and separation

Calibration runs are bounded public scans and should be scheduled respectfully. They do not consume the participating user's normal daily scan allowance and are kept separate from the user's personal scan history/action workspace. The operator may pause or reduce calibration frequency at any time.

Data and deletion

See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion details. Registered account deletion removes calibration participation records and owned calibration runs linked to the account from the live application database, subject to the backup caveat described in the Privacy Policy.
